I have just finished my A-levels and am currently taking a gap year. I am currently re-applying to study economics at university. LSE requires you to have an A in AS-level further maths and from what I understand some of the other top universities are much more likely to accept you if you have it therefore I am thinking of self teaching it in my gap year.

Has anybody else attempted this? How did you find it? I would probably intend to do FP1, D1 and S2. I already have an A* in maths and 100/100 in M1 so would it be possible to use M1 as part of my futher maths qualification and use D1 for my maths A-level meaning that I wouldn't have to do very well in D1 to retain my A*? Any advice is much appreacited. Thanks

P.S. Does anyone have experience with the further mathematics support program?

Thanks but when I open it with word it loses all of its formatting. How hard did you find this module?

It is a pdf file so you need to open it with a pdf reader such as Adobe, a free download at get.adobe.com/uk/reader/
