In particular, for Statistics 1 and Mechanics 1?
For Edexcel, I thought the standard issue textbooks are really good.

Our exam board will be OCR MEI. Are the official textbooks for the options the best I can get?

Also, I understand that there are many exam boards but is the content different for each exam board?

Another question, I am interested in doing engineering at university. What options would be best for me?
The content is different for different exams boards and I think OCR MEI is particularly different - I don't know which book is best.

But if by "What options would be best for me?" you mean "Which modules are best for me?" then Mechanics. Do as many Mechanics units as you possibly can. At least up to M3 if possible.
