    After months of perseverance; constant rejections; and dozens of applications I have been offered a placement job for 1 year.

    The job role itself lies with my interests and I know it is something that I will enjoy.

    However, the thing is I never really had a 'proper' job, i.e. one where you get paid. I am feeling nervous, scared and have been having second thoughts - even though I haven't started working yet.

    Is it normal to feel like this? Do you adapt to the workplace after time?

    What is it like working in an office? Like are you allowed to go on Facebook, for example
