Basically I arrived in the halls the same day as everyone else and said all the greetings etc. however the next day and for the rest of the week I've hardly seen any of them ... I've attempted to say hi and make conversation with them but they seem to ignore me and stay in their rooms all day, and at night they go out with their boy/girlfriends so I can't really do much with them then. I try to get them to talk during the rare times they're in the kitchen but they just ignore me.

I'll admit I struggle to meet new people and socialize but this is worse than what I thought I was. I've done nothing at all to insult them unless hi is now an insult :P and I'm wondering how I can actually get them to talk any help will be really appreciated :P

Maybe they just don't want to talk? You can't force them to, they don't have to.

Just keep talking to them as often as you can, there isn't much else you can do tbh

Thanks! I sort of gathered that's all I could do ... Just going to keep trying. I'm just panicking that I'm not going to have as much fun as I first thought I would and barely talk to anyone all year
