well yeah but girls can be overly excited when talking to a guy they like... no matter how tired we are. but it seems as though guys put their tiredness before excitement.. right?

All guys are different. If I'm really into a girl, it doesn't matter if I haven't slept for days; I'll bare through it.

If it's just a random girl who I'm dating, I'll wait until after the nap. Just depends on the strength of the attraction, for me. But, all guys are different.
