Stretch marks on thighs

Ok, first of all i am a male, about 5ft 10 and roughly 83kg. BMI is 25 so is JUST overweight.

Now, for some time now, stetch marks were building all over my thighs. They are mighty marks as well some are 5/6cm+. Now i read its very hard to deal with qand get rid of, but they say it eventually fades off. Thing is im sure this has been here for 1+year and how its starting to bother me.

Anyone suffer from a similar problems(I know its common with girls apparantly).

How should I deal with it? Can I get rid of it?
Does anyone know if I loose say 5-7kg would it help the situation?

cheers

there are lotions like palmers i think do one, that makes them go lighter quicker but basically one they r there, they are there i think. they dnt stay red, they go to like a white colour and they become hardly noticeable. if u wna prevent getting them, it helps to use body butters n creams for that purpose daily i think.

yeah i had them on my tits and hips when i went through puberty. they fade, but it takes a few years.

if you lose the weight too quickly it'll give you more stretch marks. so take it easy and lose it sensibly (this is good in that you're more likely to keep it off too). that won't get rid of the old marks, though.

i've had weight problems due to depression where i put on loads of weight very quickly over the last 2 years, so i have them everywhere. they do fade to silvery lines, takes a while, i've had some on my stomach about a year and a half now and they're just starting to fade properly. they definitely will though.

you'll still notice them but other people won't as much, it's just because you know they were there
