nah, not really, because it's other women. I normally wouldn't let my mum see me in my bra, but I don't mind the lady who measures me. You should get measured, they get you to try on different bras and advise you on what to sort of bras would be best. And it's more precise.
I go to marks and spencers.
If you get measured, you have to take your top off, but leave your bra on. And don't wear a see through bra... I made that mistake on saturday, I was unbelieveably embarrassed :redface:

lol, that cheered me up a bit. and i guess i'm only teeny so big boobs would probably look weird. but it would be nice to be just one size bigger..

I think you can get measured in la senza, I doubt they'd ask you to take your bra off. And the bras there are reasonabley priced, you can get a decent one for about £15. But, the most stupid thing in the would is that they do padded bras for larger sizes. WHY OH WHY??!!

Don't worry about being measured, you'll still have your dignity :smile:

Well... about 2 months ago I got measured, and I found out I was a 32E. I thought that was big!!! And it was frustrating how that shops did padded bras in this size... Why on earth would I need padding?

Then, on saturday after work, I got measured again. And now I'm a 32G! :eek: I was really shocked. I went to my usual underwear shop (La SENZA) to buy a new bra, and I nearly cried when they told me they only went up to an F.

Big boobs are terrible. :frown: Only granny bras are availabe. I've ordered a bravissimo catalogue, which specialises in big busted bras. I'd love to be a D cup again.

I just hope I don't get any bigger. I mean, I'm only 17.

They might be changing due to the time of the month.

At one point mine used to grow by a cup size just before my period....very annoying having to have 2 sets of bra sizes.

The padding acually helps provide more support/stability. Non padded bras are far less supportive (unless they're like the bioform with a 3d wire).

Or at least that's how they feel to me.

It's so annoying knowing that even if I lose masses of weight I'll never fit into a top smaller than a 16 (or a stretchy 14) because otherwise they wont fit over my boobs....and big tops are big all over so even fitted tops look a bit odd as they're tight over the boobs and baggy around the waist. :frown:

I asked the lady, but she said it's because I'm still growing :rolleyes: , and that I shouldn't get any bigger. I should hope not, I don't want to be the natural version of Jordan!!

i have the opposite problem. i get tops that are fitted around the waist but baggy on my boobs. tis very annoying.

at least you fill your tops...sometimes if tops are shaped around the boobies- they are still a bit baggy even with me inside :frown:

Ah but then you can get padded bras to fill in the bagginess - if I pad my waist it just makes me look like I've turned back into a porker :tongue:

Exactly - if codpeices were still in fashion I'm sure they'd all be moaning about them being too tight :wink: (while secretly padding them out)
