Feel weird...

My boyfriend is moving into halls at a local university, today, and for some reason I feel really weird. He's only going to be about as far from where I live as he is now, so I just don't understand it.

I'm not scared of him finding someone else quickly, because he's really shy. We only got together after being friends for ages.

I know I can still see him (til I go to uni in a fortnight, when things will be harder but I'll see him every week or 2). So again, I don't know why this is bothering me.

Maybe you're nervous on his behalf, meeting new people and the whole new experience?

im guessing u feel weird as he'll be having new experiences at uni, meeting new ppl that u don't know, u wont 'share' all ur experiences as much as before. its natural to feel abit weird or sad, dont worry

I'm in a somewhat similar position as i'm about to move away from my boyfriend to uni and will only see him every couple of weeks. I'm also feeling a bit iwerd in the sense of starting to have some doubts over the relationship, whether itll last, whether its worth it etc. However, I think part of it is just general nerves about going away, meeting new people, being apart, and just change in general. As such Im trying not to worry about it too much and to just wait and see how I feel in a couple of months.
