I was actually a little worried about that because I'm not sure if all the rooms would have a window I mean I can't be sure since I haven't visited the university and I'm a little claustrophobic so..
I am doing Law LLB with a foundation year. You?

The rooms i saw all had windows and the kitchen has huge ones which look over the lake which was very pretty. Ooh very nice, I'm doing sociology and criminology. Found anyone else on our floor?

That's good to hear :O and no, I haven't found anyone else on our floor. You were the first one  do you think it's possible to arrive earlier than 29th? Like maybe a week earlier and stay at the accommodation?
Ooh exciting! I don't think you could but worth dropping an email. Why do you want to go earlier?

I live in Abu dhabi and my brother is leaving for university of Manchester much earlier (15th of sept.) and my mum and dad suggested I stay with him for a while so that feeling of being alone in a new country goes away. it doesn't really matter to me tbh. I don't mind going on either dates.

Looks like people from floors below aren't keen on getting to know us.
Say, does any of you plan to bring big tv and sky sports f1 (or at least BBC)? I can't live without my biweekly dose of speed.
Doubt anyone is going to want to pay for tv license ahah! What about like iplayer?

iPlayer can't be used for live broadcasts. You're free to watch whatever you want after it ends though. They also have a few hour delay so it'll be troublesome.
Still hoping for someone with TV. I think £150 a year (+Sky F1) for opportunity to hang out with me is a steal.

Idk about getting a tv license but I probably will be getting a TV to play video games and stuff :3
