Definitely right now, I'm happy this is the Era I'm from and belong in, I couldn't live without my Iphone and Mac, I along with thousands of others can now continue onto higher education like University which lots of people couldn't do in the past due to huge class divide's.

If I did have to pick another era though, it would still be fairly recent. Probably the 1920's springs to mind, that is if I could live in New York and enjoy the golden age, people really had style in the 1920's, it would have been fantastic (and as long as I got out before '29!)

Only a fool would want to live in a different era than now to 15ish years earlier max. Assuming you're restricted to only being allowed to go backwards...

1980s I would say especially as I love the music and fashion from then.
