Hello
I am interested in studying mental health nursing after working as a health care assistant within a psychiatric unit for just over a year. I know Salford have 2 intakes next year March and September 2015. Could I apply for both March intake and September intake on UCAS, incase there are not enough spaces on one intake or is this frowned upon?

Hi,
I'm certainly no expert but I believe universities consider applications for both intakes at the same time. I applied for September 2014 intake and they were interviewing for both September 2014 and March 2015 back in January this year. So, if you apply for September 2015 intake they will also ask you if you would like a March 2016 intake, if you're successful. I would highly recommend 'Getting into UK Nursing School for Dummies,' if you're interested. It was a life-saver! Good luck!
