Reduce calorie intake, and avoid using your calves as much as possible, and hope they atrophy. Chances are they won't.

I'm 5ft2 and 7 stones. I don't think so.

Frankly, there is absolutely nothing you can do then.

Reply 5

do calf raises, they will make them more defined, if you do light weight and many it will also reduce the size a bit, and make it more tight

Reply 6

and i like things tight

Reply 7

I have really chunky calves compared to the rest of my body too :frown: sucks.

Reply 8

genetics! you wont reduce their size unless you loose alot of weight i suspect and if you slim already youll need to look like a skellybob!

Reply 9

Meh. Just means I have to continue wearing heels when wearing skirts insteada flats. Would be nice to have given my feet a rest.

I'm sure it's not unattractive.

Doesn't look like there's much you can do. My calves are quite muscular from gymming. When I exercise less they get smaller, however I'd rather have bigger calves than have a bigger belly.

I think it's possible that it's not fat- instead it's muscle. In that case you don't want to tone them- because that means the muscle will become even more defined.

Its genetic some people just have big calf naturally and there nothing you can do about it! Its not like there anything wrong with having big calfs anyway!
