DON'T STOP ... BELIEVIN'....I would really know about Oxbridge as the course I want to study isn't covered there.

Hmm, if you have a tutor you might be okay.

An ab initio a-level is one where you learn a language from scratch to a-level standard in a year. It's generally advised that only people who already know multiple languages or are particularly good at picking up language do the course.
Don't do it. You'll struggle and it'll affect all of your other subjects.
