I believe you get quality for price with audio devices (except beats, overpriced) so don't expect that good of quality. The cheapest headset I've bought was £25 which were creative fatality and were a decent pair of headphones and last a good while with very little problems. For just a microphone, you could look into buying a 10-20£ clip on microphone which are pretty damn good as they retain the natural position for speaking so the feedback on them make the voice sound better than having a headset mic straight in front of you. Other than that, for microphones I'm pretty sure anything at a low price are alright.
