Does my friend 'collecting' give guys the wrong idea?

I just wanted some people's opinions so i would know whether i should change how i go about making friends.

In the title i used the phrase friend 'collecting' and i use that term in humour, but i do have a tendancy to make lots of friends very easily and quickly and keep these friends. So i have many friends and people that i trust and can depend on.

The other night i went to a party and i use it as example as it's fairly representative- At a party i got talking to a guy and got on really well with him. I went with him and some other people back to their house to watch a film and carry on having a few drinks. Later he walked me back to my friends house where i was staying. We got on really well and i gave him my mobile number. Within minutes of leaving me that night he had text me and then the following morning when i checked my myspace he had sent me a message on there and an email.

I wonder if my need to make and keep friends, ie my giving him my mobile number so that we wouldn't lose touch with him, gave him the wrong idea. This type of thing has happened to me over and over again.

Probably.

Collecting Pokemon or Pogs would no doubt be a lot less complicated.

Class! I personally prefer few meaningful friendships than lots of random people who don't really care. If you want to be friends with him go for it, don't use him to get back at your friend.

Get back at her friend? Did I miss something?

I'm similar to you, Angel, in that I have a small group of REALLY close friends who I spend nearly all my socialising time with, but I have quite a lot of good friends who I try to see every now and again, and text here and there to keep up with.

Don't know where I read about getting back at her friend, although I have had 4 hours sleep! It is hard to keep in touch with the minimal friends! Lol.

Don't forget slammers too!

Man, I used to love Pogs. Seriously. I completed series 1 once, series 2 once, series 3 four times, and I'm only short 4 Pogs of completing it a 5th and I have TONS of spare series 3 Pogs, I have all 24 kinis and a ton of spare ones, I have loads of French Pogs, I had a Pog watch, Pog mat, Pog: the board game, all the limited edition Pogs, which there were quite a few sets of.

Man. I sure loved Pogs.

World series ones were best.

OP; try making your intentions clearer with appropriate body language.

Pogs were great, and were massive all over britain.

OP, if u spent most of the party talking to this guy, and then went to hang out with him more, and then let him walk you home, and then gave him your number, then yes, you gave him the wrong idea.

Unless my parents have lied to me about where I was born and faked my birth certificate, then yes, I'm sure I'm not American.
