During my GCSEs I was really unorganised. I would take notes from the textbooks on paper and just put it in a pile and later it was a mess to find it again. But during my AS year, I want it to be different. How can I organise my class work (handouts, sheets etc.) and revision work so it will be more organised?

Also, how do you find what way you learn best?

    Have folders for each subject
Stick sheets in & title them straight away
Make a pocket for loose sheets at the back of books.
Have a notebook for each subject
    Staple notes together
Separate notes by subject and topic
Put a contents page in your books
Go through notes regularly and chuck out anything you don't need

Ok so is just organised my brother's A Level work and it's a lot easier if you start and continue by being organised.
You should date and title your notes and then put them in a folder and page number them. Use folder dividers for topics, sub-topics and any other things like tests and revision. Then just put your notes in the right topic and if they do get messed up you can just pop them in the right slot.
I learn best by making notes in class and then going over and consolidating them to one short concise sheet of notes at the weekend. Put this after your notes as a summary, then just use this for revision and refer to your class notes for any extra detail which is required.
