Health tips?

I wake up every single morning feeling awful although I get more than enough sleep, around 8/9 hours a night. I constantly have blood **** eyes, I feel tired most of the time, I have spots on the top of my arms (shoulders), my eyes look dead. They used to be sparkling blue. My hair is a state too although Ihave bought some new shampoo and I have noticed a difference. I just feel unhealthy and I look terrible. I think i've aged a little. I'm only 18 by the way.
I think all this is the result of the last 12 months of my life. I've been depressed, tearful and had some terrible experiences. I am trying to get over them but it's hard but I am getting there. I just want to improve my appearnce again and look normal.
How do I do it? Especially my eyes! Thanks

Do you drink much water? That can really help. And likewise your diet can affect how you look too-make sure you eat a really balanced diet. If its been going on for this long maybe you should see your doctor?

My diet is poor I'll have to admit. I've been so see my doctor he just keeps giving me blood tests which come out clear. So I get no where.

I'm trying to get over the last 12 months my self but if I fail I'm going have to see some sort of counsellor when I'm at university.

Sort it out. 5 fruit and veg a day isn't just to keep cancer away, it'll actually make you feel better.

And try and get out. I feel so fed up after a couple of days stuck inside. And if you do feel depressed or whatever, go see your doctor.

You're here asking for health tips - it doesn't take a genius to work out that a poor diet = unhealthy. Health tip #1 = sort your diet out. Cut out the junk and replace it with lots of fruit and veg, lean protein and good carbs (wholemeal rather than white when it comes to pasta/rice/bread)

I feel like poo when I don't get enough fresh fruit and veg, it's really noticeable. Your body is like a car that runs on petrol. You're pumping it full of diesel and wondering why it's not running efficiently. Give it the nutrients it needs and you'll feel a million times better.

Have you tried using eye drops to brighten your eyes? They can be really refreshing and make eyes feel and look better.

Try doing some more exercise, which should in turn increase your energy levels and hopefully help you feel better!

Fresh fruit/veg. Cut out the saturated fats and processed crap. Eat more EFA's. Take some vitamins. Do some exercise. Sorted.
