Yes cylcling can be good for health, not as good as running, But i find it a lot more fun.if your aiming fo fitness try and pedal in a low gear with a lot of revoloutions per minute of the pedals. (Cadence) Which gives you a more aerobic workout compared to crunching a high gear which is more muscular.
