Was i in the wrong?

Well a couple of weeks ago, i went out with a group of friends for a few drinks, and one of my male friends is OBSESSED with my female friend. Anyway, me and my female friend were talking about this guy she pulled on holiday, and my male friend went psycho.

He totally embarrased her in front of our other friends, and was shouting at her, saying she was flaunting him in his face, even though my two friends have never been an item!

I stuck up for her when she went to the toilet, told him he was out of order, and that she shouldnt live like a nun, just because he fancies her. After all its not her fault she doesn't feel the same way.

Now the male friend is totally blanking me, he wont speak to me, and it's upsetting me because he was one of my closest friends here.

Do you think I was out of order? I'd apologise but he wont speak to me... :frown:

No, you were in the right, he was being a ****.
well no she shouldnt live like a nun, but she doesnt have to rub it in his face
Nah he sounds out of order. Tell him (or wait for him) to grow up. He'll hopefully get over the crush on your friend...
I think he needs to grow up he don't own her.

Rub what in his face!?

Gosh I hate people that think everything is about them!! - Get over yourself!

Your female friend is free to be with whoever she likes and if your male friend is jealous then that's just fine but to shout at her and tell her off is just childish.

The fact that he's not speaking to you is also indicative of this. Chances are he's just trying to wind you up - Don't allow this to happen.

At the end of the day if he values your friendship as much as you clearly do then he'll grow up and recognise your point of view, if he doesn't then quite frankly he's a knob - move on!

He sounds like a psycho! Future rapist or murderer. Stay away from him or report him to the police if this stalking and aggressive behaviour continues. What a loon.

Tell him to grow up and get over it. She don't like him - end of.
