How much of Literotica is legal to read in the UK?

In the past year I have been getting into the pornographic (erotic literature) website Literotica as well as fitspo. I find that it is more pleasurable for me than visual porn. However with the literotica I am very concerned that some of this might not actually be legal to read in the UK.

Apart from the obvious illegal exceptions which I do not read and to the best of my knowledge have been banned from the website, I have experimented with a few of them but I am less knowledgeable about the laws on these. For example there are some very odd stories involving anthropomorphised humans (such as a woman grows udders or people becoming werewolves) which I worry if it counts as bestiality, although I do not read these much I have accidentally clicked on them unaware of the content until halfway through the story. I am also unsure whether the incestuous stories are legal i.e. if fictional incest porn is illegal in the UK (there are many stories about a young man falling in love with his 18+ year old sister/hot aunt/mother etc.)

Can anybody help me with what categories on there are legal and not? Frankly I am scared of clicking the wrong one and today cannot enjoy my private time because of the fear I may get arrested for clicking the wrong thing.

Thank you
Congratulations for finding this beautiful website. I too read it and have fun alone. And I'm a girl btw. Clicking any story links are not a problem. I click on whatever I'm in the mood for that night. Trust me, as long as you stay on the stories you will be fine. Have fun and don't forget to put Internet browsing on private
A series of failed prosecutions, from Lady Chatterly's Lover to Girls (Scream) Aloud, mean that writing literary porn is extremely unlikely to get you into trouble, almost regardless of the content.

I don't think anyone has ever been prosecuted for reading it.
it's fine, it's not illegal, it's just fictional unillustrated text.
I presume you are a girl you need to chill out of course it is not illegal it is fictional as long as it doesn't insite of promote criminal activity it is fine.

It's fine as it is fictional if it was illegal they wouldn't put it on such a well known site.
No erotica is illegal as it's just written words of fantasy. Visual porn has restrictions obviously
The anthropomorphic animal fetish is known as furries, and is a well known, if very weird, subculture.

Book burning isnt yet legal in the UK though i fear we are fast approaching a position where having impure thoughts could result in lashing..

I don't think that it's illegal. You're fine.

I hope it's not illegal..

You should be able to tell pretty much what you're going to be reading by reading the title and introduction, and if you start reading and don't like what you're reading, just switch it off. You're not going to get arrested.
I've been reading it for a few years, haven't been arrested yet!
If you are really that worried about big brother watching you (why they would be watching you and only you, I can only imagine) then can I suggest you read books on the legal implications of reading the books you are referring to! I am sure the litrature site you are using is well aware of what it can and can not make available to its readers.
