This may sound silly but are you sure its still in?

Reply 2

Yeah it's definitely still in - I can see clearly out of that eye but the other eye is blurry! I can pull the lens down onto the white of my eye, it's the pinching that's proving a problem!

Attempt no 200...

I always pull my lenses on to the white part as its less sensitive there. If you cant pull it out then try not to worry as even if you do nothing they will eventually dry a bit and then drop off. Maybe try rubbing your eyes like your tired as mine always fall out when I do that.

But dont rub ur eye to much cos if uve been trying to get them out for such a long time it could rip and then it will b hard to get out.

Got it  Thanks everyone!

For my next trick, I'll try and get them back in tomorrow morning....

You could try like I do, I do it differently to other people. Move it to the corner of your eye, and then look upwards and wipe your finger over it downwards, gently but with a bit of force so that it hopefully comes out of your eye. Maybe you should let your eye clam down for a bit and let the irritation go down, and then try again. Most of all, don't panic! Nothing bad will ahppen if you cna't get it out, and you WILL get it out eventually. This happened to me quite a bit when I first wore them. Don't panic and good luck getting it out =]

alternatively if theyre disposables you can prise them out like you might pop a spot; attack from both sides - push your eyelids down and forward so you catch the edge of the lens and it could pop out! s'how i get mine out!

have you got daily or monthly contact lenses? i started on daily and theyre horrible to get in and out, theyre too thin and flimsy. once youve sort of got used to them (should take a month or so) talk to ur optician about the monthlys where you put in the same pair in the morning and put them in a pot during the night. theyre thicker than dailies so are easier to put in and get out as they dont tear. it worked for me, lol

I've got dailies - decided to start off on those so I can wear them when I please but will probably switch to monthlies when I'm sure I like lenses.

Just touch your eyeball and squeeze, easy!
