Weird throat burps?

its happened for ages now but basically has anyone else had this? its sort of a weird burp that doesnt come out, it just makes a weird gurgling noise in ur throat. ive had this for ages, and i want to know wat the hell it is and how i can get rid of it coz now i cant get rid of them (unless i lie down) and they make me feel sick!

Yeah, just try to avoid fizzy drinks and gassy foods. Burps should be allowed to come all the way out!

yeah i thought it was that too, but i dont even have to eat anything for it to happen. i have no idea wat it is.. maybe i gulp too much or sumthing! :confused:

hey there!

i get exactly the same thing... its very difficult to describe tho and when i try to describe it to people, including the doctor, they dont seem to understand what its like. makes me feel ill too. i often get it after a couple of beers which really sucks! i just have to go to sleep and when i wake up its normally gone.

I always get those when I have a sort throat, and because they make me feel vomity I get heartburn too. It really sucks!

Sounds like a severe case of 'frog in the throat'. Probably a toad. You should refrain from sleeping around marshy areas to avoid collecting more amphibians, and you should try tempting the toad out by laying a cunning trail of blue-bottles...

I have this too along with choking problems that I am being treated for. It helps to rub your chest down from your throat and try breathing in really heavily, coughing might help too

yeah i get that as well! its happenend for as long as i can remember and also it happens to my mum. its like a gurgle noise that happens when i dont eat (its happening to me at the moment and i googled it :biggrin:

i remember i asked my mum what it was and she told me to imagine my stomach is like a sink with a plughole at the bottom. when u let the water out it makes a gurgling sound at the end :woo:
