I don’t think it would really be fair to start commenting on this in depth since its purely subjective and entirely boils down to your own roots and where you have lived. Compared to my local high street in Surrey for instance there are far fewer hawt blondes simpering around with their mates talking endless crap about shoes and hair straighteners :smile:

Remember Warwick is an entirely campus uni generally referred to as 'the bubble'. By your third term you will be so bored of union events you will probably have branched out into the leam/cov clubs by then so it becomes the same as any other non-campus uni.

You could argue that intelligence is generally speaking inversely proportional to looks since that 'swatting over text books' image is never going to be all that attractive and Warwick is a highbrow-trying-to-be-Oxbridge uni. If looks are shallow though i dont think you will have much luck with the girls; more like a swift knee to the nads.

nah im in AV mate, regrettin it a bit now tbh, rootes is meant to be where its at, best not be quiet in AV i need sum proper drinkin partners!

don't regret it...im in AV and love a good night out and drinks..

loads of people ive spoken to who are going to be in AV all say they want to get rid of that 'boring' title

Dont buy into the 'Rootes is where it is' carp! Rootes is for people trying to be hardcore living on the poverty line dispite the fact they obviously got the grades to go to Warwick and have also evidently got the funding to attend...somehow.

There are plenty of awesome partys at AV. You guys have the benefit of a lounge area which Jack Martin doesnt have and since nobody wants to spend money on drinks at the union, everybody ends up drinking before hand. Voila, lounge!
