Arabian Guy, British Community
I dont want to sound racist as i say this with complete full respect to british community and traditions
im an arabian guy coming to uk very soon for uni and worried that i wont mix in with other uk people
im afraid i would be seperate and not mix in
im also afraid that what people say about how socially adapting people are initially at uni might not apply to me
how would i adapt socially with people (i am social person where i come from)
would the fact that im arabian effect my going along with people initially?

hey man. you'll be fine. just integrate and get involved in conversations same as you would with your friends back home.
which uni are you going to?
most unis are pretty culturally diverse so it shouldn't be a problem at all.

I understand that you're scared but just remember that there are so many people in the same boat as you. I'm sure you'll mix in okay...at first it will be hard but thats the same for everyone. Does your religion permit you to drink? If so then go out to pubs and bars with random people and have a good time-heck, you can even go if you don't drink! And join many societies that interest you, in that way you can meet many people that share the same interests as you. Be confident and have fun. Good luck!
