Hey guys,
Im a second year nursing student at nottingham uni (derby centre).
We have to do an elective placement in april, for 4 weeks.
I've applied at The Christie in Manchester which is an oncology hospital, an I'm hoping to be working in the surgical theatres etc.
And everything seems to be going well with the application process.
And the manager of the department says she's going to put me down on her allocation list etc.

So now im sort of accepted, ineed somewhere to stay!
Does anyone know if the hospital placement/education team help you get some accommodation?
Or if i completely have to find it myself.
Help?! I wasn't sure if they would put u in a halls type accommodation with the Manchester students for elective placements.

Help!?

Have you contacted the relevant truast to enquire if they have short term accomodation - most hospitals have access to short term accomodation for med students / electives / locums
