So, i got CDDU in my AS. I want to do do something with management and economics at uni. Is it worth applying to strong universities like Royal Holloway with these grades? I however, have relatively strong GCSE's (4A's and 8B's), I have also won awards for extra curricular activities like the Jack Petchey for raising money for charity. Is there a chance I will be offered a place or should i just apply next year where i hope to improve my grades? I currently Take English literature, Geography and Economics.

I presume you're doing resits - what are your predicted grades? If your predicted grades are good enough you may stand a chance, however you wouldn't be the strongest applicant. Seek advice from a teacher - they've probably had plenty of students in the same situation. You can always go through Adjustment if you apply for 'lower' universities then get high grades at the end.

Your A Levels will be the determining factor in getting a place, they ideally need to be quite a bit higher. Nowhere accepts a U grade, so resit some AS exams
