A boy and a girl ideally. I don't understand these people who go "Oh I'd never have kids" Why????? It's the greatest thing in the world to achieve.

Two, at the absolute most.

3. Eldest daughter, then two sons (that's my ideal, but as long as they're healthy it's all good).

Yeah I think more than two is just too many. I see these people with 5, 6 kids and I don't know whether to laugh, cry or what.

I dont like them:biggrin: Its ok if you can get rid of them back to their parents but I just find them annoying plus I would be a really crappy parent.

Couldnt agree more! One time before I left sixth form in May my German teacher was saying how she never wants kids ever even though her husband does I was like  ur a teacher how can you not like kids?!?

I cant wait to have kids one day
5 for me, but only if I am supremely rich.
I would ideally love 4 but get the feeling that would be too many. So maybe 3.. But then if it was like 2 girls 1 boy or 2 boys 1 girl I would feel bad for the odd one out, but then I wouldnt want all girls or all boys either.. so maybe 2  mmm
none!!! i dont understand how parents can dedicate their lives to looking after a little screaming pooing sick making machine. tbh it looks like an 18 year jail sentence.
But with more than two you get the issue of "less love for one than the other". It all depends if you have them staggered though. If you have two young, then one or two later on, you HAVE to show more love to the youngest IMO.
2 or 3 depending on how much money I've got. I'd like more but I'm kind of cynical about big families as I have personally never seen a family with more than 4 or 5 kids where they've all been happy. The parents seem to find it hard to equally divide their time between them and I dont think I'd do any better.

If I had kids, it would be 2 at the most. I don't see the point of really large families, it just doesn't make sense in this day and age.

However, my kids would have to be taught to be polite. The kids I helped in Learning Support were extremely rude. I would never allow my children to become like that!

because she has to put up with them day in day out as it is. at least this way she can give them back and she doesnt have to deal with all the icky bits.

EDIT: Shame though, looks like the family name isnt going to be carried on!

im not entirely sure why they decided to have me tbh. i think my mum would have been happier without us! her work has allways been very important to her.

having been an almost full time babysitter it is my informed descision not to have kids.
4-5  :p: would want the house to be full of life!

Well dont let having had to look after your siblings put you off, having your own kids would be different. Number 1 they're your kids and come on nothing would beat holding your own little baby in your arms, number 2 you would have more experience with dealing with kids, number 3 you would have support from your husband (plus number 4 you can always get your eldest to babysit when you feel like it :p: )
