Linen or Cotton?

I've noticed that most shirts/blouses out there seem to be made of cotton, some are linen and few are cotton linen blend - does anyone here know what's the difference? and is there a difference in quality between cotton and linen? which is the generally preferred fabric?

Linen generally makes you feel cooler, and is a material you would prefer to wear in summer. 100% linen shirts always seem a little see-through, and are much better in the summer as they don't make you feel as warm.
I quite like linen cotton blends :biggrin:

It depends on where you live, what's the temperature, what are your style preferences, etc. I prefer cotton because linen clothing is very difficult to iron :biggrin:D And cotton is brighter, lighter and more beautiful for me :smile:
