So do the people in HK.
The stars are nice in front of fans of course.
Their being handsome, pretty, nice or lovely is only the result of good propaganda and make-up.

By the way, I am eager to know why so many people in China like them.
Do they think that HK stars are more fashionable, trendy or westernised while they can also be regarded as Chinese?

I went to Venice about 2 months ago. It's quite expensive there, especially with the stores around St.Mark's square. But once you go towards the Realto, it's lined with markets everywhere and you can get some pretty cheap good stuff. I visited the Morano glass place (the proper one, no cheap one) where they gave us a demonstration on making a cup and then a horse. I ended up spending €25 on a glass gondola. In Realto, you can also get Morano glass figures for less that €10 but not all of them are made from real Morano glass. I bought a nice dolphin and horse figure for less than €10 and wished I bought more. Also, beware of the gondolas, they are extremely expensive. Even a 30-minute ride around Venice (trust me, you need more than 30-minutes to go around Venice on a gondola!), it can cost up to €50. A nice way to get around Venice is by the waterbus. Very cheap and efficient. Also, check out the many excellent restaurants there are, even though some are quite expensive. At first, it's a bit easy to get lost but there are always signs telling you which way is St.Mark's square and Realto. I went there everyday and got used to the place after the second day! It's a very unique experience because it's all shops and places of interest and you forget that hardly anyone lives there! Oh yea, one last important thing: almost everyone speaks English there!
