Make loud noises and run away from whatever it is that is making me squeamish, flapping my arms hysterically.

Squeamish about what? I'm not squeamish about blood or watching operations (i had to watch operations on animals e.g. castration at the vets on my work experience) but i can't be around while someone is being sick, and i definately can't be around if there is sick in the room, i have a phobia of sick.

Im not squeamish at all. Nothing like that bothers me, in fact, I love it. Sounds morbid I know.

The only thing I dont like is when people are sick in front of me. Im not squeamish about it, its just that it turns my stomach and I always think Im going to start puking too!
I hate frogs, cat vomit, excessive blood, pus, stepping on slugs, sea cucumbers and people chewing on jumpers. its all making me shudder right now.

Whatever it is you don't like to see, force yourself to accept that you're being irrational.
Hmmm well I don't mind the sight of gross stuff and clinical gross stuff like watching opperations and stuff- but I hate disturbing noises such as the sound of people in distress, you know like I'd hate to watch a film where someone was being tortured if they were wailing in agony etc. So what I do, if I'm watching a film like that at home I just make sure I have the remote so that I can turn the noise down to a bearable level when I need to! hehe

That peobably doesn't really help your situation but it works for me!
i can take injections, but if i hear people talk about them and im in a certain mood the i get i migraine of faint. i have also had two dreams about drugs where i have woken up sweaty having a mini fit, but not for a long time now. luckily this means i should never become a drug addict because i would faint just talking about using them. once someone was talking about blood n stuff and i went kinda green . i think im growing out of it slowly.

Just out of interest, why do you feel the need to be anonymous?
i posted this as anonymous, because sadly some people in this life are quick to judge for whatever reason. since there is no need to identify myself, what is the point. to me it is a personal matter which i don't people to have on there 'in head memo' of me if i know them well or not.

For video games I recommend the Soldier of Fortune series.

I'm the most squeamish person in the world, but there's not much you can do about it (I find anyway) other than just to be brave and put yourself in the situation you don't want to be in. I have no problem with blood and if other people get hurt I don't feel at all squeamish and can help them, but if something's happening to me, well....I just feel so ill, and have fainted many a time. I can't help it and I just force myself to go through with things....I'm hoping one day I'll stop being squeamish because it's a pain in the bum!
