LBC ran this discussion and a man called Jack phoned in to have a go at telling the nation what UKIP stood for.

First of all, he wanted to make clear that UKIP were not against immigration. Once that was cleared up, he was asked to explain what UKIP actually stood for.

The best he could manage was to say that UKIP were certainly going to do something about immigration.

On why people voted UKIP in Clacton:

Jack: Because they know if they don’t vote someone like Ukip in it will end up being down there like loads of places, in London, in Bradford…

Radio DJ: It will be like what...do you just mean it will be full of foreigners?

Jack: Well... yes.

Have a listen - and a giggle.

They are full on neoliberals economically (as a result I would not trust them with the NHS, no matter what they say). They want out of the EU. Want much more control and reduction of immigration. Climate change skeptics that want to stop 'green' stuff.

Ah, Green Tribe as in Nvidia. Very good. I thought you were talking about some student room tribe of green activists.

Mind you, anyone with any sense would be quite right to be offended if I associated them with Nvidia...

Basically, UKIP stand for the UK pulling out of Europe, and limiting immigration. They stand for nothing more, and certainly, nothing useful.

Take away Nigel Farage, and they will collapse very quickly. Get them into power, and they will collapse even faster.

You enjoy having other people pay for your healthcare?

Now why would anyone want that taken away...

Yes and I look forward to contributing towards paying for others when I earn more. Why the hell should I just keep over and die if I get ill due to the fact I have spent most of my life in education and haven't got a proper job yet. The country needs science graduates. I'm very much in favor of governments steeling from the rich and giving to the poor via democratic mechanisms.

It's something like 84% of the population think the NHS should be public run. You are very much in a minority population wise. You however have more friends in the group of people who actually run the country.

To be honest the war between Nvidea and AMD graphics cards is a good analogy of UK politics. Two almost identical things just in different colours

Then you are not a libertarian socialist, clearly, since you support the state using violence against people who refuse to give over their hard-earned money. You are also anti-poor, as you think the poor also need a gun pointed to their head to fund the NHS. You think that I should be thrown in jail if I refuse to fund the NHS. If I resist arrest and pull out a gun to defend myself, I will get shot.

Statism = ideas so good they have to be mandatory.

Don't go waving guns in people's faces then.

Nothing stopping you leaving the country mind... I'd recommend Somalia.
