Parking around ARU Chelmsford?

I am looking to drive to Chelmsford to study and am wondering if there's any good places to park? Free places?
Any advise would be helpful

The best option is the park and ride. It is £3 a day, the first bus runs at 7am and the last bus goes at around 9pm. The university is the first stop and it takes around 10 minutes to get there from the car park.

I know £3 isn't a lot but if I am attending 5 days a week it will add up. It will all depend how many days I have to attend. Cheers though!

You'll probably find it is the cheapest way of travelling in. It does add up but the car parks average at about £8 a day and there is hardly any free on-street parking in Chelmsford.

There is a small industrial estate behind the uni where there are about 5 spaces but they are almost always taken. You can get weekly and monthly tickets for the park and ride bus that work out cheaper.
