What's in it?

:eviltongu Isn't nasty another name for snake bite? ie half cider and half lager?
Love cider love lager, but mixing them together just mings! :eviltongu

Nasty is half cider, half lager and Lufbra blackcurrant cordial (specially made for LSU)
Obviously people can drink "nasty" elsewhere and call it something different e.g Snakebite/Snakebite and black/Diesel. Depends on where abouts you are from.
But only in Lufbra will you drink NASTY and learn to love it.

Had some Nasty when i went to Warwick to visit a friend... just wasn't the same!! (Before stopped drinking obviously! lol!)

Can't stand the stuff! *grins* Hopefully I get to go to the union thingy though, although if it's just committee people then maybe not... Email from the hall chair made it sound like freshers squad could go as well though, so fingers crossed! :smile:

I reckon you'd make it in. I remember last year after we all had our meal in EHB we went to the Union and a couple of our freshers who had arrived a day early came to the bash with the committee. THey didnt seem to have any trouble getting in.
Perhaps it'll work differently this year though!

Apparently the company that makes the blackurrant cordial for our nasties [we're their only customer] is being sold off...which means our nasty may never be the same :frown:

Three years ago the union changed the ype of blackcurrant in the nastys and there was uproar and they had to swap the stock back!

Yep, snake bite n black, is a nasty.
- Only, only a nasty from a lsu is quite the same thing.
- As steely mentioned, the blackcurrent comes from a small company, which whos sole customer is lsu! And there our sole supplyer. For now...
