You don't put UMS scores on your form, only module grades. However, if you did your A-levels in 2003, maybe you didn't do modular exams like there are now, (in which case obviously it doesn't apply)?

Did you get a score out of 600 (for A-level) or 300 (for AS level) on your statement of results or exam certificate. This would be your UMS. 240/300 is an A, 210/300 is a B and so forth. Basically, raw scores (what you actually got) are converted to UMS based on how hard the exam was and how people did this year and in previous years.

Yeah its for a cambridge application :s-smilie:, anyway cheers for the info, I'll check my scores and fill those in as UMS then. Im pretty sure theyre out of 300 and 600 like you mentioned. Now gotta dig out my certificates and fill out every unit module I sat...

I found my old certificates, but can only find the UMS scores for my AS-Levels, i.e. out of 300

I can't find my A2 UMS scores...do they usually give those out after you've finished your A-levels? I've got my grades and certificates for my A2s, just cant find the UMS scores. I don't know if theyre important or not...

If you've got your AS UMS, I'd expect you should have UMS for A2. If it's not on certificates or statement of results, ring up your exam boards and ask what your scores were, if any.

If I ring the exam boards will they really tell me my UMS scores straight off? Ah well I'm gonna try on Monday and find out.

Worth a try, certainly. I can't see why they wouldn't. Have your centre and candidate numbers handy, along with the details of the awards you want your UMS for.
