Anyone know if the hall's policy on guests staying in your room (for a weekend let's say) is that strict??

I stayed there in my first year (now going into third year),and always had people staying over for a few nights at a time,there were no problems with it.

No, not at all. One guy in my block (when I was in 1st year) had a friend to stay for 3 weeks.

You have around two room checks a year, and they're from the cleaners.
