Hello,
What support do students with Aspergers syndrome receive at Salford? Would I be entitled to a grant of some kind? Also are there any single rooms with me suites?

Hi,
The support available varies from person to person depending on your individual Asperger's report, but here are some examples are:
- extensions to coursework deadlines
- extra time in exams
- separate and individual rooms for exams
- extra tuition
- alternative assessment for group presentations
The support would also depend on what the course requirements were... did you have any specific courses in mind?
In terms of financial support, you can get support in applying for Disabled Students Allowance. If eligible, you may also be provided with appropriate equipment and study coaching support.
