Is he cheating?

I have just been for a night out with my friend and her boyfriend, she is 21 and on the way back her bf was sat if the passenger seat and I was in the back. Anyway he had his phone out and with me being nosy I could see some of what it said in a message he was reading . I can't remember it all but it had the words my phone was witheld....I love u I want you then I saw in a different message (maybe he was sending it) 'love you more babes - mate Nat' and I saw him type exactly 'If u go with some u will lose me'

I thought that he might be texting to my friend but she was right next to him driving, at first I thought it was his mum lol, I know I shouldn't be so nosy but I suppose lots of people in my position would have read it. So his is certainly cheating or could I be mistaken? If so what should I do, I don't want to cause trouble?? Its strange that he would be typing to another gf when he is sat right next to her. Also it seems like he is using her I men he kept asking her for money for a drink and to play on machines, she is day off tomorow but is picking him up and taking him to work because he can't drive.

Tell me what you think? If I tell her she will think im jelous because Ive never had a proper bf, thats also why im asking here since Ive never experienced stuff like this lol.

Thats what seems obvious but is it certain? I don't want to tell her and it be me who got mistaken or something. In fact I don't even know if I can bring myself to tell her I don't want to lose her as a friend.

Btw what did the last message mean do you think? 'if u go with some u will lose me' or did he mean to type 'some 1'? Doubt it.
You're going to be that old woman who lives in a cottage with a perfectly preened garden and peeks out behind her blinds at all the passers by and fabricates paranoid stories over tea and scones before being discovered to be the killer in Midsummer Murders.

It's a circular cypher. If you switch the letters round replaceing each letter with its correcponding letter and thne square root, converting back into letters and rotating round the alphabet the messages reads:

'Ill ditch her tmoz u r all i wnt xx'

the bastard!

Or maybe he will ditch who he is texting to and keep my friend, she comes in useful to him.

He's probly shagging the person he was texting and she is getting jealous of your friend and wants to go out with some other bloke maybe?
Actually he's gay and is shagging both his pseudogirlfriends' fathers.

You've turned into me
Its not 100% that he is cheating, maybe he was reading through old mesages and the message he typed could have been related to something else.

I think the OP hasnt seen anything thats worth telling her friend about, for one, she has no idea what context they're in and doesnt even know who they were too. Just be quiet and be a bit less of a nosy cow.

Its annoying isn't it, Im not fat so am not a cow:biggrin: Ok forget it, I might as well stay quiet and let her get on with it.
I don't think the OP should have looked at what he was writing. It was an invasion of his privacy.

one day you should take his phone and just read through it.
say you need to send a message or something to someone and you have no credit.

but it sounds like hes involved with someone else.

lol Id never go that far not even if he was my bf:p: Its just I was sat in the car, it was dark and the light on his phone lit up the message there was not much else to look at :p: Poor excuse I know.

Im almost sure he is involved with another girl but Ive made my mind up not to tell her cause like people have said I shouldn't have been reading his message.
If you think he's cheating its your duty to tell her, I know I'd feel so hurt and betrayed if my friend knew my bf was cheating and didn't have the courtesy to tell me.

well put it this way, i think she'd rather hear it from her really good friend than have to hear about it from someone completely out of the blue.

tbh i don't think its rude that you read his message, yeah if the message was about something else maybe i'd say that you shouldn't have been nosey. but if my friend hadn't seen something happen and told me, i would never know who my real friends are!
(sorry but i had to stick an eg from my own dilemma).

ask him whos nat! if thats what the other womans called.. just bring it up, pretend you've ''heard stuff'' or something.
you must be able to find some excuse to confirm what you saw.
obv don't let him know you read the message but still.
