The Northern Ireland Visual Arts Forum is established to promote the visual arts in society for the
benefit of the inhabitants of Northern Ireland by developing public appreciation of the visual arts
and by improving access to, and the quality of the visual arts. The Forum transcends current public,
private, professional and non-professional groups, bodies, organizations and individuals with the
aim of acting as a neutral meeting place for enhancing access to, and quality of, the Visual Arts.
All groups and organizations are openly welcomed with a view to sharing knowledge, ideas and
aspirations to enable a more coherent approach to the support and develop- ment of all sectors of
the Visual Arts in N. Ireland.
