You can go bald anywhere, my granddad didn't have a single hair on his body by the time he was 22 or something.

well male pattern baldness is caused by dht on the scalp I think, and I don't see why it wouldn't be present in other regions where there is hair...

i dont know if there is any truth behind this, but i think that they hairs have a life cycle of abot 7 years, so you will gradually lose hair, but your new hair may begine to regrow. and people say shaving it makes it grow back thicker, dont know if there is any truth behind it. also if you are chinese you will look like you have less hair compared to whire peopl etc as our hair is mega straight so it dont everla making it look like we have more hair

It could be down to factors other than Male Pattern Baldness. Is there anything going on in your life which has been particularly stressful/traumatic? After a motorbike accident my hair really thinned out, thought i was gonna be a skinhead, luckily it reversed itself though.

I'm female and I’ve experienced hair thinning for a long time however gradually it's now getting better. Male baldness can be passed on from generation to generation that's similar in my case since my parent's don’t have very thick hair so I’ve come to realize finally that hair loss is natural and in some cases cannot be prevented because it's something that we all have accept and experience at some point in life.

The majority of hair loss cases don’t start until you’re between the ages of 20-30 but it can happen before that as well. If you’re really concerned about it then in that case I’d suggest you go and visit your doctor ASAP seeing as you should fix the problem before it's too late since hair loss can cause low self esteem and the later you leave it the further the problem will deteriorate.

There are some medications available but most of them do not claim to work and do not provide permanent solution to hair loss. Regaine (minoxidll) and propecia are the only two medicines which have been proven to work and have been approved by the FDA.

It's called alopecia, go see a doctor.
