being friends with an ex you still fancy

A guy and a girl like each other and are attracted to each other. They become a couple. They realize it's not going to work out since they live too far away from each other. But they like each other and don't want to split up and never see each other again. So they decide to be platonic friends. The problem is that they still are attracted to one another.

What do you think will happen? Will their plan of ordinary friendship work?

if your mature about it, it is possible to keep a friendship out of it, but it will require you to supress any emotions otherwise it will get confusing!

I'm in that position now...and am finding that staying friends with someone you still have feelings for is very very difficult. I hope it will be possible one day, but at if you both want different things it's going to be hard.
