I've been trying to find some topics to write about for hours now. I have to simply discuss some of the biggest breakthroughs in the last 20 years. I thought this was going to be very easy but turns out it's not! I'm finding it difficult because I'm a first year student and it's pretty hard for me to get my head around the literature. Also, I every topic I begin to read up on seems to be older than 20 years. I was wondering if anybody had any ideas as to what I could write about ? Any help would be greatly appreciate.
