uea, soas, leeds, reading or bath? PLEASE HELP

I have applied at several universites for a postgrad degree in Development Studies (SOAS, Reading, Leeds, UEA, Bath). So far, I have received an unconditional offer from the School of Development Studies at UEA, but I'm still waiting to hear from the other universities.
Can anyone tell me something about the reputation of these universities? (general reputation as well as Development specific?)
Can anyone recommend on going to uea?

THANK YOU!

Definetly UEA or Bath.

UEA is definetly the most renowned for the subject as its in the top 2 or 3 in the country, but Bath has the better overall reputation.

I didn't even know Reading did a Development Studies course, so obviously its not well known. UEA is definately one of the best uni's in the country for Development Studies, its got a 5* rated department.

for reptation bath is the best out of those you've mentioned, but i haven't a clue about their development studies courses. i know this might sound a daft question, but when you talk about development studies is the course about child development or developing countries?

lol, hope that i don't sound too stupid. the only reason i ask is that child development would probably taught in the department of psychology which is one of the best in the country with excellent facilities and a really friendly department. if it's child developm, ent we're talking about i'd definately go to bath.

Nah, there's a girl in my block here at UEA who's studying it and she gets really annoyed because everyone always thinks she's doing child development, so the mistake is not uncommon.

thanks for all your answers... it definitely helps with a decision.
Is uea generally regarded as a good uni (I'm not from the UK and don't really know a lot about the reputation of UK unis).
Is there any other uni/development studies course that any of you can recommend/or definitely not recommend?
thanks...

UEA is a top 20 uni, in both the league tables we have (19th in The Times, 12th in The Guardian), the development studies course is rated the best in teh country as well. Its not the most traditional or pretty university in the country (though the concrete does grow on you  ) but its got a fantastic atmosphere and is really friendly. Also, no building is further away than a 10 minute walk, wherever you are on campus, so its very compact. There's also loads of greenery and a big lake to make up for the concrete!!!

Plus, Norwich is a lovely city, and it would be very easy to spend three happy years there.

(I'm not a UEA student, but I used to live around that way)

i got an unconditional from UEA for international development...but for some reason i ended up choosing SOAS. I guess its because at soas i have international development and politics both. But anyway, as far as i have understood, UEA is the best for international development, but dont know about SOAS, dont think its that bad of a choice either.

I'm starting a BA in Development Studies in September and have Soas as my firm and UEA as my conditional. Hence, my favourites!!

UEA is a cool uni, better than Bath anyway.

Don't rule out Leeds! I have no idea what its like for development studies, but I loved it when I visited. It's a really cool city, great nightlife and shopping! The people also seemed very nice there and it has a fairly good reputation.
