Mine is on the 14th! I'm yet to find anyone with the same date as me ): I'll be sure to come here though and give you a heads up about what it's like!
I've applied for 2 in Stranmillis (primary and early years), Primary at Glasgow and Professional Primary Ed with specialism in early years at Stirling  You?

Hey, do you know much about Stirling? I've applied there too because the course sounds amazing but I don't know what the actual uni/city is like at all because I missed the open day haha

Hi there! Any advice would be brilliant- What course are you on? I have an interview on the 12th on January and I'm not sure how to begin structuring my presentation.
Did you find the interviewer okay or were they intimidating/rude? I've heard mixed feedback which is worrying!

Hello  I do Post Primary Religious Studies and English
What's the presentation question this year? I'll help you as best I can.

When I was preparing my presentation I wrote it out as an essay and then took the main points as bullet points on small cards. When I was doing it at the interview, I asked to stand up as it makes you look more professional, and I found that once I started I barely needed to look at the bullet points as what I wanted to say came naturally, which is the best way for it to come across, rather than coming across as if you are just rhyming something off!

I had a man (who actually turned out to be my main lecturer for RE this year) who was lovely, and a woman who was really intimidating, so when I was talking I focused most of my eye contact on the man and only occasionally looked at the woman so as not to wind myself up. The questions were ok, I found one or two difficult to answer (taking a drink of water when this happens helps as it gives you time to think!)

To be honest when I walked out of that interview I thought I had blown the whole thing, I thought it couldn't have went worse. But, 8 months later I was enrolling onto the course! So just remember, no matter what you feel like when you come out, any thing is possible!

Don't worry and don't panic! The interview flies by and before you know it your walking out of the building. Just be yourself and act natural, because that's what they're looking for, your natural ability to communicate and how you deal with pressure.

The question I've chosen is the importance of a learning environment that develops social skills and resilience, not just academic knowledge. I have an idea of points I want to make and examples of them from my own classroom experiences etc but I'm just curious as to any tips you may have on how to make yourself stand out in a presentation?

So you had a mix of interviewers then? That doesn't sound too bad, and it's reassuring to know you did better than you thought you did! The standing sounds like a good idea, I can imagine making a speech whilst sitting could seem terribly awkward.
Thank you so much for the advice and reassurance, it makes going through this process so much easier and really boosts interview confidence

The best advice is the cliche advice to be yourself and play to your strengths. Maybe do a bit of research into the area of the question and find some facts about it that you could use .
Also keep up to date with current issues in education as it's almost certain you will get a question on something to do with that!

There was no written test for Stranmillis last year, only for St Mary's.
My questions where along the lines of these:
1) what qualities does a teacher you admire have and how would you develop these qualities in yourself as a teacher?
2) advantages and disadvantages of children from other countries coming in to NI schools
3) advantages of a placement in another country
4) any thing else I'd like to add
5) any questions I had

Is this st mary's twickenham? x
Yeah it is x
I have an interview there on the same day! have you done the personal target form thing x
Yeah I've done it but I'm in two minds about what I've written x
What have you written for it? x
I was asked why primary, why this subject (we taught it subject-based), why teaching, why this university, my teaching experience (and what I've learned from them), my learning experience (and what I've learned from them), and of course a self-introduction. Then there's a group interview with us coming up with the best ways to learn something.
What sort of questions should you ask the interviewer?
