Mine's called MONICA on the network in our house (it's one of the examples given when you set up a network). But we're not speaking at the moment, she has mood swings.

One way you can suck up to her is clearing her cookies and temperary internet files folders, makes them feel less bloated.

That is just wrong.

And if it was an official letter, it is wrong on even more levels.

Linda was just picked out of the air. The monitor's Hewlett Packard.

And made up surnames must always be Mc-something or O'-something.

Due to the overwhelming evidence (the large number of female sockets on the back), computers are female.

This was called Pennywell at one point, but now its just got a random auto generated name. I've had the privelege of using machines in workplaces called detritus, downtown, cerberus, orpheus, anubis, and deathstar... those whacky sysadmins!
Well I used to have a computer called slatybartfast
