Body toning kits

Do these actually work? I really want to tone up my stomach but sit ups are a no no as i have a really badly injured back witch also limits my sports. Ever since i got this injury ive lost my toned stomach and i HATE it, and with my limit of what i can do i just cant seem to get it back, so im thinking of getting one of these toning things but do they work? I not sure if this the right place to post this either.

No they bloody don't.

Muscle definition = low bodyfat percentage + muscle size.

If you've injured yourself i assume you've dealt with the NHS in some way, have you not got a physiotherapist? Mine used to give me lots of helpful advice/alternative exercises after i broke my spine, which i ignored.

What kits are you talking about? The sort of "Ab King" ones, where you lie on the floor, rest your head on the thing, and half-use your arms to lift your head up a little bit?

I think she means the electric things which zap the muscle into twitching.

Oh ok. Yeah, as far as I'm aware, they do not work.

Christ, don't waste your money on those useless things! Seek medical advice an they should be able to advise you on what you can and should not do.
Waste of money from what I hear!
