Architecture in Bath or Nottingham??

Is there anyone who is studing Architecture or about to?? since im a newbie in this field. I'm not so sure which uni to go to...Nottingham or Bath??? I have offers from both but i really dont know which has a better reputation for Archi...except that they both high up in the subject table in The Times. Anyone got an advice for me?? Btw, can anyone tell me which of the two has a better overall reputation academically??

Man...its hard to make a decision.

I would say Bath does, but:

1) I go to Bath
2) You'll get twenty people from Nottingham saying the opposite, so it won't make much of a difference

Any difference in reputation is so small that it really isn't worth basing your decision on. You are currently in the wonderful position of being unaffected by other people's views, you should maintain this position and pick the one that appeals to YOU the most.

thanks for the replies. I've visited the unis durin the easter. It was the first time I went to Nottingham...and to be honest...the campus is nice but the city is kinda a dump...no offence to nott ppl. Bath is really beautiful but seems really borin. So either way... theres disadvantages. I kinda look at the academic aspect of the uni more than its location so I want oppinions from different ppl. Unfortunately, these views are always very subjective. Btw...I dont live in the Uk and thats y I m such a newbie...haha

I know nothing about architecture, but as far as all round reputation goes, it's very difficult to pick between those two. I'd probably pick Bath, because I like Bath as a town.

It always seems to me that outside of Oxbridge and a handful of London uni's, there isn't much to pick between the next 20 universities..they are all so solid and able. As has been said above, you're in the situation of having been spared the British views of which uni is better than the other, so you can make an unbiased decision based on what you really want. Both will set you up well for the workplace.
The architecture course at Bath is really good (its my insurance) and the city's beautiful. All I know about Notts is that the city's a bit of a dump (no offence, its just not as pretty as Bath) and its too far from the sea!
