Hi all,

Once again thanks for the comments and help regards to my last post. So I've done more questions (you've got to practise don't you?) and, of course I was a bit stuck on a few. Some of them require pictures but others need I'll write below:

1. Simplify fully 6(x-5)^2
----------------------
3(x-5)(x+4)

2. Factorise (x+1)^2 + 4(x+1)

3. N is an integer S=1/2 n(n+1) prove that 8S+1 is an odd square number.

4. Robin is firing arrows at a target. The probability that Hewitt the target on his xth attempt is x+2
-------
x + 3

For example probability (hit on his 5th attempt) = 7/8

Work out the probability that he hits the target with both his 1st and 2nd attempts.

B. Work out the probability that he hits thea target exactly once on his first two attempts.

And the rest I'll have to take pictures of! Thanks in advance!
