Balliol or Christ Church?

I had basically decided to apply to Christ Church for English, but now I got a prospectus from Balliol and apparently it is the keenest to admit international students (which I am)... So maybe I should apply there? Although it does have sky-high application ratios for English... Help someone? Would I be more likely to be accepted into Balliol simply because they are keener to admit international students? :frown:

According to my old history teacher, Balliol and Christ Church are the only 'great' colleges of Oxford. But that's by the by.
