The Student Room Group

Lse Lawyers

Hi to all you LSE lawyers

Have any of you had an e-mail with your programme for the week? It says to check your LSE e-mail this week to find your programme and details of your meeting with your personal tutor, but I have just checked and nothing so far

Also, just wondering what time you are all going in to register tomorrow, and what time you were all given for Friday's meeting? I have been told 11am (there are two listed on the web-site 11 and half 3) any of the rest of you in for this one?

I've checked the LSE e-mail, and I haven't received anything yet.

As for tomorrows registration, I think Ill be there at 10:30am sharp, just to get it over before it gets too crowded.

As far as Fridays law induction is concerned, I was not aware that we are given different times. How do I find out what time I've been given?
Registering is basically just getting your student card right? If that's the case I've already registered .
We haven't each been given different times, what I mean is on this page:

http://www.lse.ac.uk/collections/studentServicesCentre/InductionUg/deptInduction.htm
(GO DOWN TO LAW BIT)

It lists two meetings, one starting at 11am the other at 3:30pm. In the letter I got with the welcome pack from the law department it says come at 11. This is the pack which had the info from the law society, and a prelim reading list etc.

You going to that pizza meal thing btw? We were wondering how they are going to do that, its on the same evening as the undergrad law reception - it does say that the meal is after the reception, but given that the recption lasts til 10pm we will either have to leave early if we want to go for the pizza or have a very late meal :p:

How did you manage that when Law registration is tomorrow?!

No, I will not be going to the pizza meal. Though I was a little puzzled about how they were going to manage that, with the reception on the same day. Oh well, I'm sure they have it figured out.
That's why I'm a bit confused. Is registering just involve getting your student ID and printing out the Certificate of Registration? Cause Sameer shove all of us in to register when we're taking the tour around the school. And basically the staff over there just demanded my Acceptance letter and passport and that's it,I'm done...less than 5 minutes.

Perhaps you should give the LSE a call, or just come along tomorrow (if you can), just to be on the safe side.
I think what time we have to come at for that is prob based on surnames, like the school induction on wednesday is.

I have no idea about registration DeathScythe sorry, I think we do get our LSE ID cards though, and we are meant to show our original offer letter (Although they apparantly accept that certificate of acceptance thing we got if any of you have lost the original offer letter or don't know where it is) and some form of I.D. like our passport

Yeah a few people have said that but it doesn't say anything about bringing it on the web site. I dont even know where mine is?!? What do they mean anyway, the thing about our fees?
On the site it says this:

What to bring with you

* Some form of photographic identification (for example passport)
* Original offer letter

Who exactly are these 'very few hot girls'?
i just received email from the law department. just wondering if any of you might have the same personal tutor (and maybe therefore same tutorial group) as me.

my personal tutor is Mr Peter Ramsay. and from my email it seems there are only 7 people..
