Regaining faith/trust in a friend

I fell out with a girl, friend of mine a while ago and whilst we were quite close we did sort of have our moments shall I say but we always go through them and made us better and closer friends.

Up until recently, we fell out because she thought I 'liked her too much' and was perhaps a bit obsessed or 'stalker' like.

After that she said she just wants me to forget about her....

Since then I have not spoken to her however my friend has done and said that she doesn't think we will work out as friends again and that she will only say 'maybe' when asked directly 'Will you be friends again'.

She keeps saying she 'doesn't know', 'doesn't think it will work', 'had too many chances' etc. etc.

I know I shouldn't say this and I know someone must have been in the same situation but how can I regain her trust etc. and faith in me and try and presuade her somehow to give me one final last chance at being friends with her???

Thank you to anyone that replies will be much appreciated....this is driving me crazy lol!

Are you stalkerish?

No! Only she thought we had got too close for comfort to each other....

I'd back off, theres nothing really you can do apart from give her space.

We havn't spoken to each other for about 25/26 days now so nearly 4 weeks so is that not enough time...?

She told my friend that she thinks she will 'upset' me if she starts talking to me again, but I see this as a pure excuse because I am really upset now so her talking to me will have the exact opposite effect!

Haha i think the fact you know the exact number of days suggests you're being a little bit stalkerish....

Just leave it until she's ready. If she's not happy about it then you can't be friends, its a two-way thing. I've had a similar situation with a guy getting to close to me for comfort and once we'd had time apart for a bit we could go back to normal.
